On this calm and sunny weekend at the end of August, with a light west wind, the Race Committee managed to complete 5 out of 6 scheduled races of the Zonal Championship reserved for class 420 dinghy boats.
On the starting line 23 boats from nearby sailing clubs: Circolo Velico Vernazzolesi, Yacht Club Italiano, Circolo Nautico Loano, Yacht Club Imperia and, of course, the large group from the Yacht Club Sanremo, animated the sea of Sanremo with their colorful sails.
In conditions of westerly wind that did not exceed 6 knots and a calm sea, after a total of 5 races, Alessio Cindolo and Sara Valente of the Yacht Club Italiano took first place, followed by Ludovico Rossano and Federico Trucchi of the Yacht Club Sanremo and Cesare Guglielmati and Filippo Calvi of the Yacht Club Imperia.
The first female place went to Ludovica Fortin and Francesca Lanteri, Yacht Club Sanremo, and first place Under 17 to Nicolas Margaria and Edoardo Cavero, Circolo Velico Vernazzolesi.
