Sixteen boats from all over Europe, five races completed for the third leg of the Dragon Winter Series that has just ended: the first two days of racing were characterized by an easterly wind, about 10-12 knots, which allowed us to complete three beautiful races, and on Sunday, against all odds, the wind stabilized from the west, between 12 and 16 knots, allowing two more splendid regattas to take place.
On the podium, ITA79 Transbunkers, captained by Yevgen Braslavets, multiple champion of the class and Olympic gold medalist; ITA77 Dragon Fly with Giuseppe Zaoli and the great Flavio Favini at his debut in the class; GBR818 True Story, the British with Martin Payne at the helm, one of the legends of the class.
The general classification of the Winter Series sees 3 boats from our club on the podium: Transbunker, Dragon Fly and Dragondine of our athlete Marco Gerbaudo.
