Ended last February after four weekends of racing that brought together crews from all over Europe, the Dragon Winter Series was the subject of a special awards ceremony, organized at the Royal Hotel Sanremo during the International Italian Dragon Cup held in our waters at the end of March.
In the presence of the Mayor of Sanremo Alessandro Mager, the Councilor for Tourism of the Liguria Region Luca Lombardi and the Chairman of the International Dragon Class Association Gérard Blanc, the overall podium of the Dragon Winter Series was awarded – all Italian, with the triumph of the boats and athletes of our yacht club: ITA 79 TRANSBUNKER by Yevgen Braslavets, ITA 77 DRAGONFLY by Beppe Zaoli and ITA 50 DRAGONDINE by Marco Gerbaudo.
The Dragon Winter Series was organized by a delegation of the Italian Sailing Federation in collaboration with the Italian Dragon Class Association and under the patronage of the City of Sanremo.
