On Saturday 21 March at 6 pm we are organising an Open Day dedicated to children from the city’s primary and middle schools , accompanied by their parents.
The initiative was born with the aim of introducing the young people of Sanremo to the world of sailing and raising awareness of our school—for over seventy years, we have been promoting maritime education and sailing among young people.
During the event, you can visit the club, meet the instructors, see the sailing school’s boats, and enjoy a convivial moment with light refreshments.
The first 50 interested young people will have the opportunity to enroll free of charge in a six-month sailing course , starting at the end of April.
“Sailing is an accessible, educational, and well-rounded sport that helps boys and girls grow in independence and responsibility,” comments President Beppe Zaoli. “It’s a healthy sport that connects them to nature and teaches them respect for the rules of the sea, values that accompany young people in their everyday lives. And, once they’ve grown up, the world of sailing can open up often unexpected career prospects.”
The Sailing School’s courses are designed for those with no previous experience and allow young people to approach the sea in a safe, educational, and fun way.
