Great days for the Ponente Ligure Winter Championship 2nd stage Autumn in regatta 19/20 November 2022 organized by the Sanremo Yacht Club.
10 December 2022Designed last year, with a great dissemination effort by the Sanremo Yacht Club, the first Winter Series for the Dragon class took place this weekend, also thanks to the usual precious support of the Municipality of Sanremo.
Crews from all over Europe will meet every month in Sanremo for these beautiful regattas.
A Sanremo that gave Three days of east wind between eight and twenty knots with perfect weather conditions for racing: five races completed, with one gap applied, with the victory of UAE 17, ahead of ITA 79 ROCK’ N’ ROLLA FOR EMMARA, with Andrea Zaoli at the helm.
Third place for GER 1232 JAM, by the German Christian Einfeldt.
The Dragons will return for the second stage from 16 to 18 December, to then meet again in the new year with the third and fourth stage of the Winter Championship, scheduled for January and February 2023.
