Sanremo, 14 July2021

Today at the Sanremo Yacht Club was a very long day. The committee dispatched the fleet at 10am and the race started at 11am as scheduled. The wind was coming from the southwest at a speed of about 8 knots, but unfortunately the wind dropped on the second upwind leg and we had to abandon the race.

We tried to reschedule a second start later in the day, but unfortunately the wind dropped again.

The fleet disembarked and waited for a few hours, at 4.30pm. they were once again sent out to sea, with an easterly wind around 10 knots.

We concluded with two beautiful regattas with winds between 10 and 20 knots, and it ended at 19.30. , long but fantastic.

The first race was won by the Italian team Gradoni Dubbini, now leader of the championship, with the British Tresler in second place, and the French team in third place with Pacaud and De Gennes.

In the Open fleet the Italians Bozzano Cassano won the first and second regatta, finishing second in the general classification after the Austrian Lehmann Haberl. third place for the Americans Harvey and Reynoso.
