As per tradition, the Trophee Grimaldi for offshore boats will start on Friday.

 This beautiful coastal regatta unites three clubs in the area, highlighting the cooperation and possibilities of our territory: Yacht Club Sanremo, Yacht Club of Monaco and Yacht Club Cala del Forte offer, in fact, splendid locations for the development of sustainable boating, that is of sailing.

Given the challenging weather conditions, due to the strong winds that will blow from the west, it will certainly not be an easy regatta. It starts on Friday with the Sanremo Cala del Forte, the new marina in Ventimiglia where the racers will be welcomed by a party to be held in front of the Club headquarters.

Saturday Cala del Forte -Monaco with arrival in the afternoon and a wonderful dinner that will welcome the racers, at the Monaco Yacht Club. Sunday Monaco -Sanremo: at the end of the regatta the awards ceremony will take place at the headquarters of the Sanremo Yacht Club. A fleet of 55 boats, many of which are of considerable importance: one above all Prince Albert’s Tuiga, a splendid vessel from 1908. Given the large number of participants, it is certainly a wonderful start to this first stage of the 40th West Liguria Winter Championship.
