Sun and wind characterized the first two days of Autumn in the regatta, giving two beautiful regattas to the fleet gathered in the waters of the Gulf of Sanremo.

On Saturday a north wind of between 12 and 20 knots unleashed an elusive Pingone di Mare IIII by Stoppani, winner of both category and overall.

Behind him Sarchiapone Fuoriserie of Dubbini and in third place Etchellent of Cimarosti all in ORC B class first in ORC A Class Frewell of Alberto Franchella fourth overall. On Sunday the wind didn’t take long and when it arrived it was very variable in direction which made the regatta a little less technical.

A course of 12.4 miles with a south/south west wind between 6 and 9 knots.

Again fight between the first two but with reversed rankings this time, and great performance by Candelluva in IRC who crosses the finish line alone, but unfortunately can’t pay his fee.

The West Liguria Championship will return on December 3rd and 4th with the Gorilla Gang Trophy, meanwhile in our waters we will have the first stage of the Dragon Winter Series with a very international participation.
