Tuiga, Mariella, Il Moro di Venezia are some of the splendid boats that will participate in the regatta this weekend: Tuiga, owned by Albert of Monaco, a splendid boat built and designed by William Fife in 1908 and bearer of the Yacht Club of Monaco;

Mariella, of the Italian Consul in Antigua, of almost thirty meters built in 1938 also in the Fife shipyards but based on a design by Alfred Mylne, a boat that lives between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, with two ocean crossings a year.

Il Moro di Venezia, a splendid project by German Frers from 1976 and which marked the beginning of a great series of Moors who brought the tricolor to all the seas of the world.

Then other boats of that era such as Ojala II, the Resolute Salmon of the Zaoli family and Sagittarius, all boats that were part of the golden age of sailing. On Saturday, in addition to the Great International Regattas, the Nini Sanna Trophy will be held in memory of the great commander who spent many years in Sanremo with a pioneering activity: getting Italians to go by sea.
