We present the seventh meeting dedicated to the life of Gustavo Ottolenghi , present at the evening.
A well-deserving citizen of Sanremo and a well-known partisan, graduated in Medicine and Surgery, Head of Radiology and Physical Therapy in Sanremo, since the 1950s Gustavo has participated as a doctor in numerous trips of Beppe Tenti’s Trekking International, from Alaska to Nepal to the Sahara, and from 1996 to 2002 he was a doctor on the OVERLAND expeditions, taking part in 5 editions.
In the evening we will be accompanied by the Consuls of the Sea and our member Gianni Manuguerra as moderator.

Gianni Manuguerra , a sea enthusiast and storyteller, promoter of plogging, is our member, Consul of the Sea of Sanremo and national councilor of ‘Sta Italia’, the sailing and navigation school of the Italian Navy and the Italian Yacht Club.
The Consulate of the Sea of Sanremo is a technical body of the Famija Sanremasca, and provides, in its regulations, the defense of the sea and the coasts. The Famija Sanremasca was established in 1957 to preserve the history, traditions, art and culture of Sanremo and its district and to arouse love towards the City both in those who were born there, and in those who have chosen it as a permanent or periodic residence. To reclaim the ancient glories of the Sanremo navy, every year the Famjia Sanremasca, with the Municipality of Sanremo, proceeds to the investiture of Consuls of the sea, an ancient magistracy of the Comunitas Sancti Romuli
