Hungarian treble at the L30 World Championship, just ended in Sanremo

Hungarian treble at the L30 World Championship, with Hungarian crews taking the entire podium. Tranquillo HUN25 took the last-second victory, becoming World Champion after an intense and hard-fought week. Present Perfect HUN08 finished second, ย followed by Black Sheep HUN38 in third .

In the Corinthian category, reserved for non-professional crews, victory once again went to a Hungarian team: Happy Merida HUN04, seventh in the overall ranking, won the category trophy, confirming the excellent level of Hungarian sailing in all sections.

The championship kicked off on Tuesday with the practice race, and continued until Saturday, the final day featuring three splendid races that put the crews’ skill and endurance to the test. A total of nine races were completed, adhering almost entirely to the scheduled schedule – only one was canceled due to lack of wind.

All participants, both in the water and on land, were delighted by the atmosphere of true sportsmanship and international camaraderie, hallmarks of the L30 class.
