Ocean navigator and our honorary member Alessandro Tosetti returns to draw on the sea: at the end of August, four days of navigation in the Cetacean Sanctuary, between Imperia and Saint-Tropez, to once again transform ASPRA’s route into a message to be entrusted to the sea.
Maneuver after maneuver, sail change after sail change, Alessandro followed the wind to complete with the satellite tracker and a new large track on the surface of the Mediterranean: 295 miles of navigation to write NO MORE WAR.
โ It was an exciting voyage: each letter a field of the route, each stretch a conquest. Changes of sail and constant changes of course in sync with the shifting of the wind, from east to west, to maintain the fluidity of the stretch ,โ comments Alessandro – ” NO MORE WAR. A simple message, entrusted to the wind and ASPRA’s wake, so that it can go far .”
No More War is Alessandro’s third artistic performance with ASPRA, after Sail Green in 2022, and Red Admiral Butterfly in New Zealand, in 2025, after participating in the first edition of the Global Solo Challenge: he entrusts the task of spreading messages of sustainability and social beauty to the wake of his boat.
Fair winds, Alessandro!
