An exciting Italian Fireball Championship, organized in collaboration with the Class, which saw three days of spectacular racing, 9 races out of 9 and 2 discards, in a mix of challenging weather conditions and twists and turns in each heat.
From the optimal conditions with winds between 6 and 10 knots on the first day to a complex and very technical race course with winds between 6 and 9 knots and very variable currents on the second day, up to the third where, thanks to the perseverance of the committee, the three races scheduled for the afternoon took place, with a nice west wind of 7 to 12 knots.
The variable conditions, the unstable wind and several changes in the ranking put the participants to the test, rewarding those who knew how to manage the pressure and limit mistakes. A technical and mental challenge that confirmed the increasingly high level of the Italian and international Fireball fleet.
