The first edition of the Trofeo Casinò di Sanremois scheduled for Friday 24 and Saturday 25 April 2026 , on the Sanremo – Lion de Mer – Sanremo route.
The new regatta is part of the sailing calendar as the opening event of the Mediterranean season, offering a 100-nautical-mile non-stop route between the Riviera dei Fiori and the Côte d’Azur.
The distinctive element of the event is the double symbol of the lion , which inspires the concept of the event: the rampant lion, emblem of the City of Sanremo and its Casino, and the sea lion of the Lions de Mer , a reference point on the route to Saint-Raphael.
On the occasion of the first edition, registration is offered as a welcome to the fleet .
The Trophy is open to the ORC, ORC Double Handed, IRC, Gran Crociera classes with ORC certificate, FIV Rating powered by ORC .
The event will conclude on Saturday evening with the awards ceremony and party at the Sanremo Casino , a meeting point for crews, owners and partners.
