15 January 2023The sun and the wind are the masters in Sanremo: three days of regattas with sailors from Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, England and Germany, as well as obviously from Italy, who have gathered in the waters of Sanremo for the second stage of the Dragoni Class Winter Series, scheduled from 16 to 18 December, confirming the charm that our gulf emanates and the excellent reputation of the Sanremo Yacht Club.
With the usual and precious support of the Municipality of Sanremo, Abate Gioielli, the Royal Hotel, the Cozzi Parodi Group and Portosole Sanremo, the last event of the rich annual calendar of events of the coastal club took place, which will resume from mid-January his tireless activity.
Three splendid days of sailing: Friday accompanied by a light southwesterly wind, Saturday and Sunday two splendid days from the east between 14 and 18 knots with five races carried out and one deviation applied, perfectly respecting the regatta program with great satisfaction of everyone. At the end of the five races, the Germans of Jam led by Christian Einfeldt are classified in first place, followed by the Danes of Tomahawk of Kem Schaarschmidt, in third place the Sanremese Andrea Zaoli at the helm of Rock’n’ Rolla for Emmara.
A beautiful Winter Championship which, after two series, sees all ten scheduled races carried out. Next appointment with the Dragon Winter Series on the weekend of 13/15 January 2023.
