From 9 to 11 December 150 Optimists, the first boat for all the very young, pleasantly invaded the Old Port of Sanremo this week for the traditional Mediterranean Meeting now in its thirty-eighth edition: An important number that increasingly demonstrates the appreciation of sailors of all ages for the city, its regatta field and the organization of the Sanremo Yacht Club. Another weekend of regattas ended at the Yacht Club Sanremo: the Orc A, Orc B and Irc classes battled it out at sea. Sun and wind characterized the first two days of Autumn in the regatta, giving two beautiful regattas to the fleet gathered in the waters of the Gulf of Sanremo. On Saturday a north wind of between 12 and 20 knots unleashed an elusive Pingone di Mare IIII by Stoppani, winner of both category and overall. Success of “Les Amies” and participation in Trophee Grimaldi 2022 Three days of regatta characterized by light winds accompanied the fleet of the Grimaldi Trophy organized by the Yacht Club Sanremo, the Yacht Club of Monaco and with the collaboration of Marina Cala del Forte and the local Yacht Club Cala del Forte.
